Every product here sits in the Google Product Taxonomy, an open list of categories that many stores and shopping feeds already use. A neutral market shouldn't invent its own map of what's for sale. With an open one, a seller's categories and an agent's filters mean the same thing everywhere.
Numbers are the taxonomy's own category IDs (version 2021-09-21). We don't accept products from the Mature branch, tobacco products, or prescription drugs.
Every platform is building agent commerce for its own agent, with its own catalog, its own checkout, and its own rules. That makes sense for them. It also means sellers have to connect one platform at a time, and agents can never be sure the results weren't arranged in someone's favor. We built this the other way around.
Publish your offers once, in one structured format. Any agent, built by any AI company, can find them. No separate integration for each platform. No deals to get seen.
We don't build a shopping agent and we don't sell products, so we have nothing to steer you toward. Our ranking rules are public, and the same query returns the same results no matter which agent asks.

You see what we understood, fix anything that's wrong, and confirm. Nothing goes live until you do.
Upload the list again to update prices and stock. You'll see only what changed before you confirm. Every offer has an end date, and when it passes, agents stop seeing it until you renew it.
An independent verifier confirms who you are and that your business is registered. Each verification has an expiry date. Agents can require them, and an expired one shows as expired.
When an agent buys, the total is held in escrow before the order reaches you. You get the delivery address, mark the order shipped with a tracking number, then mark it delivered.
Payment is released when the buyer's agent confirms delivery, or automatically when the return window closes. The market collects sales tax, so it never passes through your account. Every seller pays the same fee.
Your reputation is computed from real orders: fulfilled, delivered on time, disputed. It is public, it shows how many orders it is based on, and it counts toward ranking.
There are no sponsored results and no way to buy a higher rank.
Offers are ordered by total price, availability, delivery time to the address, seller reputation, and current verifications. The full method is published at /rules.json.
Two agents that send the same query get the same results. Who built the agent, or which company it comes from, never changes the order.

Not yet. This is a working prototype: search, escrow, spending limits and the audit log are built and tested, but every seller, buyer and delivery in it is fictional, and no real money moves. The agent connection points listed on this page are not public yet.
It's developed by JUNO. The product doesn't have its final name yet; "The Open Market" is a working title.
For the people who decide whether to connect an agent or list a shop. Agents don't need this page: they read the machine-readable files and connect to the MCP server.
Once, yes: connect your agent and set its spending limits. After that you ask your agent for what you need and it handles the rest. During the prototype, accounts are set up by our team.
You give your agent a spending mandate: a limit per purchase, a monthly limit, the categories it can buy in and the verifications a seller must have. The market checks every purchase against that mandate and rejects anything outside it, whatever your agent was told. In the prototype, payments use internal credits, not real money.
The money stays held until your agent confirms delivery or the return window closes. Before that, your agent can open a dispute, and a person on our team decides whether to refund you or pay the seller. If an order is marked shipped and still hasn't arrived 48 hours after the promised window, your agent can dispute it then too. If the seller cancels before shipping, you get a full refund.
We keep your name, the delivery addresses you save and the spending limits you set. Your agent refers to an address by an ID, and a seller sees the full address only after the money for that order is held. Every action is recorded in a log that can't be edited or deleted, and personal details such as street addresses are masked in that log.
An API key for your shop and, for each offer, the product's barcode or brand and model, your price before tax, stock, delivery zones with cutoff times, warranty and return policy. You publish once in one format and every connected agent can find it. During the prototype, seller accounts are created by our team.
A flat fee per order, the same for every seller whatever the price of the item. The amount isn't set yet, and during the prototype it's zero. There's no paid placement to buy on top of it.
Payment is released to you when the buyer's agent confirms delivery, or automatically when the return window closes. The market collects sales tax, so it never passes through your balance. How payouts reach a bank account hasn't been decided yet; in the prototype, balances are internal credits.
There's nothing to buy: no sponsored results and no field for priority. There are no written reviews to fake, because reputation comes only from outcomes the market records on real orders, and it shows how many orders it's based on. A seller who sells stock it doesn't have ends up cancelling, and every cancellation counts against its reputation. A price change creates a new version of the offer, and an agent always buys the version it saw.
Any agent or tool that can call an MCP server over HTTP and send a bearer key, whichever company built it. We haven't tested every client yet, and we'll say which ones we have.
Each agent has a public ID and its own API key. We store only a hash of the key, keys can be revoked, and each agent has its own rate limit. Connecting through OAuth is planned, not built.
Structured fields accept only closed values like numbers, codes and fixed lists, so a seller can't put instructions there. Free text written by sellers comes back in a separate block labeled as untrusted. The spending mandate and the order steps are enforced by the market, so even an agent that gets fooled can't spend past its limits or confirm an order that hasn't arrived.
Right now the whole market is a sandbox, with fictional sellers, fictional buyers and internal credits. Once it's online, developers will be able to request test keys for it.
No. The fee is a flat amount per order, so a pricier sale doesn't earn us more. The ranking puts the lowest total first and never looks at our fee.
The rules are published in /rules.json, and every result includes the fields used to rank it: the full price breakdown, the delivery window, the seller's reputation and verifications. You can re-sort the results yourself, or send the same query from two agents and check that the answers match. We'll also publish the code that does the ranking.
One query covers many sellers at once, with a total that includes tax and delivery to the address, and a delivery date for that address. The money is held until delivery. Today the catalog is small and fictional, so a large store has far more selection; the case for this market grows with every seller who lists.

The sandbox runs on fictional sellers and fictional credits, on a database separate from any real pilot. It resets every night. The test key below is public and shared: everyone who uses it acts as the same demo buyer and sees the same purchases.
